Emma Fursman

Graduating from Aberdeen University (LLb) and Strathclyde University (DipLP), Emma began her professional life as a solicitor. While working in property conveyancing with one of Scotland’s top law firms, she spotted a gap in the market for a residential property agency.

To equip her with the business acumen needed for a start-up, Emma studied for an MBA at University of Edinburgh. After being awarded this degree and crucial seed capital from the university’s Oppenheimer Scholarship, Dunpark was launched in 1997.

She achieved the highest score nationally in ARLA Level 6 Award in Residential Letting and Property Management and has Letwell accreditation. In recognition of her contribution to letting, Propertymark awarded her with Fellow of the Association of Residential Letting Agents. She is also a qualified Propertymark Estate Agent (NAEA).

A great believer in continual learning and leading by example, Emma encourages her team to train continually for personal and business development and strives for a healthy yet motivated culture within the company.

With particular expertise in finding properties in Edinburgh for investors and then preparing them for long term lets, Emma has helped clients worldwide. She has built up expertise in HMO licensing and appears at committee hearings. With extensive experience of residential property, Emma is on hand to guide clients in sales, letting and acquiring property.
